I've heard several people say good things about this book so maybe I should add it too my amazon shopping basket - I was looking for some more books to add before placing my order!

It would be great if you decide to order it. But be warned, it´s such a sad and tragic story.

I don't mind tragic stories - I mean, they break my heart but I've grown a bit tired recently of stories that are too lovey-dovey because they tend to be so predictable. One of my favorite books I read this year was Atonement by Ian McEwan which is incredibly tragic on so many levels but it's still a great story. I'll add Forbidden to my shopping basket and let you know what I thought about it once I've read it! :)

I really think that when you find a book that makes you feel like you have described here "you know when you have the feeling your chest is being crushed together and you can´t breath, your heart starts beating faster, your throat is closing and you can´t swallow anymore", it is such a treasure

Here´s the blurb from Tabitha Suzumas website:

"Sixteen-year-old Maya and seventeen-year-old Lochan have never had the chance to be normal teenagers. Having pulled together for years to take care of their younger siblings while their wayward, drunken mother leaves them to fend alone, they have become much more than brother and sister. And now, they have fallen in love."
