Update 2: Omg it looks like a dress!
Still needs facings, hems, a good press, etc. and the shoulder seams aren't actually sewn. Still probably needs to be taken in a tad under the bust; darn bias cut.
I ended up having to go to the Bay last night because I didn't have any thread close to the right colour. As I was setting up to cut the skirt (I had already cut the bias pieces for the top.) I decided to take some ibuprofen and lay in bed for ten minutes or so. Then it was suddenly 6:30 am. Oops.
I don't even have a decent zipper foot for my home machine, let alone an invisible zipper foot, so I sewed the invisible with the zig-zag foot. Oh yeah, and I turned the darts into tucks cause I remembered that I don't like darts.
