god i miss my phone.

the twilight series sets a really, really terrible example for adolescents.
like, destructive.
i wouldn't want my kid reading it.

and it's not because of the vampires.

....that's not to say i'm not going to buy the next one the second i can get my hands on it...

I read all four and loved them, but i don't get how its a bad example for kids

there are an awful lot of adolescent twilight fans out there who are going to be shocked when their first teenage relationship doesn't lead to eternal undying love. that's all i'm saying.

...also, can you say emotionally abusive?

Yeah, you're right, i guess i just didn't think of it that way. But aren't they going to get hurt in love and relationships anyway (doesn't everyone - unless the find eternal love in their first relationship)?

I'm still a believer in eternal undying love (and i don't care if that's unrealistic), and i did when i was a teenager too.
