sort of. the thing is i can't track her down...i don't have an address for her where they can mail the summons.
i tried contacting her parents (i sent a certified letter), and apparently they're okay with their daughter screwing someone out of almost a thousand bucks! cause i never heard back from them.
not that this is terribly useful advice, but if you have their names and address, you should continue to hound them.
like, regular phone calls and letters. just cause one letter is easy to ignore, but talking to someone on the phone, well...its harder to keep that up.
I don't know if you're eligible or would want to do this, but I just got an email from New York Blood Center because I donate blood, and apparently, if you donate platelets, they give you a $25 prepaid mastercard...
yeah, i don't know how much i recommend it, but i've donated blood plasma for cash here in bloomington. it kinda made me feel screwy when they put saline in me to replace the lost fluids, but it's supposedly safe to do twice a week, and i can make $60/week doing it here. and on a general level, it's easy- you just lie down and periodically pump your fist to keep the blood flowing, and it's over in about an hour. i'm generally an advocate of safe medical procedures to get money, so it might be worth considering. good luck, dude!
