Don't ever take Botany! Never! Unless for some sick reason you like that sort of thing. I absolutely love my women's studies class, I'm interested to see what will happen with my fiction class, but I hate botany

I share your rage at scientific terms. Honestly I like biology, and I like my teacher, but I can't for the life of me remember terms like osmosis or diffussion. I'm like the action where certain biological material gets sucked up by some other organ thingy. *blinks, then frantically tries to divert teacher from my answer with a bunch of pretty diagrams I can make in attempt to save my grade, which sometimes works*

I know, it's all very interesting in theory, and I'm sure the labs will be fun, but I really hate when I finish a chapter about mitosis and meiosis with a tiny little paragraph about plants use a whole bunch of that crap throughout their life.
