the truth of impermanence

Anicca vata sankhara
Uppada vaya dhammino
Uppajitava niruchanti
Tesam vupasamo sukho.

All things are impermanent.
Their nature is to rise and pass away
To be in harmony with this truth
Brings the highest happiness.

anicca, dhamma

hello! i am friends with tony (got to hang with him when visiting the bay area this past summer) and i added you awhile back because of your interests in buddhism and social justice. i've been looking to learn more about buddhism and was wondering if you have any suggestions for stuff to read? also, what school of thought do you study?

trying to find a buddhist centre in toronto with teachers that don't make me cringe..

thanks for connecting. i'd love to support you in any way that i can around the Buddhist social justice thing. you're right, i'm a big fan of the two, and have a lot of (hopefully) good resources and readings for you. :) i f you're cool with it, send me your email address in an LJ message or just get mine from tony rony baloney, and we can go from there. much peace and best wishes to you.
