Boscacci!

Ms. Boscacci!

I must be honest, the last time I tried to find your school, I failed miserably. I had gotten the name and city from Ms. Cossey after I was here for about a month, but could not find an address or phone number to save my life! (I did, however, find Mike Mallory's watercolor of your vila).

My winter break coming up in a week excited a new need to find your school, and lucky for me, Kyle signed online from Iraq (or I suppose Qatar now?) this afternoon, and he was able to help me sort through the military sites and get me a phone number. You should be getting a mail from him about now as well.

I think that if someone had told me four years ago that I would be Instant Messaging Kyle in the Middle East so I could call you in Northern Italy from Central Italy using my oh-so-eloquent Italian (Parle l'inglese?), I would not have believed them.

Anyway, I get off on break starting December 7th, and then I will be backpacking around Europe for a month before coming back to Florence for more classes. It'd be awesome to see you, I know there's a youth hostel in Vicenza not far from the train station, and the only obligations I have for this month are meeting a friend from the Alps in Perugia on the 9th and meeting Emily Sershon at the airport in London on Christmas morning. So, that is to say, I'm open whenever.

Ah well, this about 10 times longer than I would usually write for an e-mail, since I finished an essay this morning (I wrote half of it on a train from Germany last night), and am still in the zone. I'll do my best to call tonight, and hopefully the connection will be better.

Paul
