Driving back from Thanksgiving at Dad's chalet we encountered the following road-kill:
a fox
some skunks
and a trout.

Had I actually stopped to retirieve the trout it would have been the biggest fish I had ever "caught". It was at least the size of a keyboard, maybe larger. I can honestly say I thought it was about three bananas in length

Bring my cat in. She would totally get that sparrow. Is it a house sparrow, or a new world sparrow? She's a jerk and always goes for the new world ones.

Heehee.. Given that I work in a Fine Arts faculty I think the reaction to having Kitteh take care of matters would land me in hot water.
Not certain what species of sparrow it was but I'm attributing it to Greek culture by naming it Spyros the Sparrow. I don't knowif he's still in the building or if he made good his escape. We'll find out on Monday. :-)
