Hunter flew back last night and I'm functioning again. He could only get a flight to IAH, so I had to pick him up at IAH then drive halfway to Galveston to get his car from the Hobby airport. Such is love ( Read more... ) -

Hunter is offshore for the next five to fifteen days. I haven't moved my car in 48 hours. I did walk to the gym twice.
I don't know how I got them on my fat fingers in the first place (drunk maybe?) but I can't remove any of the rings on my right hand. The last time I tried I tore the skin off my knuckles. -

They canceled my interview. Turns out they don't need anyone til March. So I dressed up in my interview outfit and Allison treated me to drinks. She's asking me to be in her wedding and has ordered me an engraved flask.
Flask > flowers.

We finished this BBC mini series called Foresyte tonight. All these dirty rich Brits running around in the 1920s making each other miserable marrying the wrong people. Glad I'm not rich!
Netflix says Hunter's favorite genre is witty romance based on classic British literature. Hahaha, pansy. Though I think it recommends "dark, cerebral documentaries ( Read more... ) -

Riding in this thing is awesome. It's like hanging out in a cheap motel during an earthquake plus you're drunk.

My costume is going terribly. I'm trying to make a belt & shoulder pieces out of styrene sheets but they keep snapping in half. Have contacted my German cosplay friend (ugh did I really just write that?) and she suggested using a pair of tiny scissors rather than an exacto knife. I may abandon styrene altogether in favor of craft foam even though ( Read more... ) -

Ren Fest means I'm missing Angela's birthday. Ugh. Oh well not missing much as they're going out to Royal Oak which is pure trash but not in the ice house & cheese fries kind of way which is obviously preferable ( Read more... )
