Hunter said a supply boat came out to the rig and brought all these finches with it. The finches then got onto the rig. He said you could hear them chirping all day, these cheery bright birds from land. But see they're too far from shore to fly back. And there isn't food for them really. They're dying one at a time. We'd planned to go tubing on the river in San Marcos this weekend. But now he might not be back from working off shore until Saturday. I guess we could go without him? And what's going on with our Boulder trip. Are we still flying out Sunday? We don't have tickets yet ( Read more... ) -

Hunter left yesterday morning to go offshore again. Says he'll be back Wednesday though I have a feeling it will be Thursday or Friday.
Slept for about sixteen hours. Woke up and watched two movies-- Toast and Submarine. Didn't like either. But on the upside my place is clean and all I've had to eat today is nonfat greek yogurt and protein powder -

Yesterday I decided it was time to cash in the gift card my sister-in-law had given me for Christmas to this fancy schmancy restaurant. Everything inside was white and gauzy and you could see the city from the balcony. Ate expensive pizza and held hands and we were very in love. -

Well hunter is 27 and I'm next. Had a pot luck at christine's Friday mmm mmm. Though my only contribution was wine, bread and crackers. Christine has a hedgehog now and it's pretty cute.

Hunter's parents have invited me to their Tuesday family dinners! Last night they took us out for beers at the ice house and we talked about Henry VIII and travel and dogs and then they gave Hunter one of those new nexus tablet things for his birthday ( Read more... ) -

The maid called (well, her daughter who speaks English called which is weird bc my Spanish is pretty good but I guess we're both shy about communicating) and said she's charging us double because the apartment was "tan sucio" Let's hear it for JPatt & Hunter TEAM SLOB.
