What a fantastic story! I love that Clark used the Art of War to finally get Bruce to admit how he felt. Both Bruce and Clark were perfectly in character and the whole story was extremely well written.

Great job!

Thank you for reading! I'm a total sucker for get-together stories, so I really enjoyed writing one with the twist of Clark actually going for it strategically. :)

Excellent story! I loved seeing Clark determined to get his man and working hard to do so (I always prefer seeing Clark doing the chasing since Bruce seems the sort to just give up than risk his heart). The portrayal of a wary Bruce, who isn't quite sure what he wants until Clark shows him the way was just perfect. I also loved how you brought in 'The Art of War' to neatly tie into the story since such strategies are needed with someone like Bruce!

Thank you! I always love a determined pursuit, and Clark is so good at cracking Bruce's shields. He's just the right kind of stubborn for it. ;) I think I'm equally fond of either Clark or Bruce doing the chasing, but as a writer, it's harder to for me to justify Bruce as the pursuer. When it's done well, though, it's lovely.

Strategy definitely seems like a logical way to win the Bat over. I had a lot of fun coming up with scenarios to work with the passages, so I'm glad you liked it! :)

Only Bruce Wayne would need to be wooed using the Art of War. I am so glad to see your Clark has the gumption to work his way through to his love.
This was wonderful and funny and hearting and Alfred was the best.
Thank you for sharing, hummm I may go buy that book now.

Whoops, sorry for the delayed response! I think one of the most romantic things about this pairing is the idea that it would have to take someone like Clark (patient, understanding, persistent, but not overly compliant and not intimidated by Bruce) to really get through Bruce's defenses, so I'm happy that came across well.

Thank you for reading! I appreciate your kind comments. :)
