Despite all of my summer-related angst, I forgot to put my summer plans up here. (Not that it matters, or anything, but really, I just feel like things are official when I post them on the internet.) After being rejected by every last internship (and then some), I decided to go to Ecuador to volunteer.  I will be in Quito from June 21 to August 6.

Oh my goodness. Adrienne, I love you and miss you already. Especially when you started comparing Equador to The Sound of Music. ^_^ And I completely understand the way you present yourself emotionally. Hurrah for wearing one's emotions on one's sleeve, no? I'd rather be passionate and roller-coaster-esque than not.

I am really impressed with your volunteering set up and it sounds incredible and there are plenty of hills in Quito for you to sing off of, so please take pictures for the rest of us!

dude, im being a park ranger this summer, but i really wish i had the extra cash to shack up in south america and help the orphans. i am sooooo jealous.
