Advice, SVP?

I am going to get my hair done this weekend and would like some ideas because I have no idea what to do. At this point I am going to walk in there and go "uh... do something and make it look good"... lol

Black and purple looks wicked!
Having said that I'm a little Biased because that's the coulours I have my hair!

There was a hair comunity featured on the front page this week, it might still be there.

I love black and purple, but I've never had black hair in my life and the idea freaks me out a bit. There are some sites that let you upload pics so you can see what different hairstyles look on you... I might do that. Black is just so... dark. Especially for me because I have dark eyes and a darker complexion. Who knows, though. If I add enough highlightes it might brighten it up a lot.

I saw that community yesterday and browsed it quite a bit. I found a few things I likes, but it's mostly color stuff. I NEED to find a style, and my hair is really tricky to work with.

I think I'm going to do the picture upload thing and test out the black/purple thing. I've always liked it on other people. Hopefully it suits me.

Purple highlights would look cool I think, especially with your dark hair!
As for a haircut, I'm not good with advice on that. Usually though, hairdressers can look at your face shape & such, and if you're willing to let them, they'll tell you what they think would look best.

Ya... I'm kinda liking the idea of some purple highlights. I just made a cut appointment sice I'm unsure of the rest at the moment. Once he makes the cut I'll have to decide on what I want to do so I can book another appointment soon.

i had my hair black before and i LOVED it, it was a bugger to get out though and wrecked my hair...i needed 4 bleach baths and still some of the black is left over and that was about 2 years ago lol!

I'm thinking of a revamp for my birthday...nails and hair appt...i love the idea of blonde slashes and choppy layers :) xx

Ya... black it really hard to strip if you have light hair. Fortunate for me my hair is already pretty dark.

You should definitely get your hair/nails done. A girl needs some pampering from time to time, you know?

Aw, too bad! I told you that black was so yesterday, and you ought to go with hot pink!! :) Sounds like you're thinking along those lines anyway. :)
