One thing that I hate, hate, hate, hate, hate is when people that I don't know, or barely know tell me, "you take care of your mom, you hear."  Like that's their contribution.  Like by saying that, they're some sort of authoritative figure who has "put me in my place."  Like if they didn't say it, I'd be out all night, getting drunk and doing blow
