“Key can you introduce me to some guy?” Key looked up from his phone, brown bangs covering his eyes.

“You have to be a little bit more precise Luna.” he said, running a hand through the soft locks, blinking at the blonde-haired girl standing next to his desk. She bit her lip, cheeks a little flushed.

“Hm, I dunno, he should be nice and have a bright smile and maybe be a little handsome.” she fumbled with her skirt as Key was staring at her, a smirk forming on his lips.

“Lee Jinki? Seriously? Luna, he's a dork you know that right?” the girl blushed heavily, but nodded.

Key sighed, packing his things and stood up, facing the small girl.

“Okay I'll pull some strings for you, but I warn you: you are not the first one to try and get to him and up to now no one succeeded, so don't blame me if it doesn't work.”

The girl looked down, her hair falling into her face as she nodded again.

Key smiled, raising her chin with his hand.

“If it really doesn't work feel free to ask me again and I'll find someone perfect for you. You know I can.”

Luna smiled brightly and hugged Key, thanking him and ran away, leaving the other sighing behind.

He swung his backpack over and left the classroom.

A walk to the school’s lockers, which took a normal person about 5 minutes from where his classroom was, took Key about half an hour. Being constantly greeted by the lucky ones he paired up and were now a happy couple or by people wanting him to find their perfect partner made it hard to quickly get done with anything.

But he didn’t mind, really. He was popular, no, loved for his skills, he knew no one who disliked him, even the school’s bullies asked him for help and because he was such an attention whore a good person he obviously helped every single one asking for help.

His matchmaking skills were great, something no one could deny and he thanked his mother, of whom he seemed to have inherited the good memory of his.

The hallways were now a little bit emptier and Key finally had a little bit of peace, nodding at some students, that greeted him and fishing out his phone, checking his contacts, looking at whom he could pair up with whom.

As he was completely absorbed in his “work”, sorting his over 500 contacts the right way, he didn’t notice the boy standing in front of him and of course bumped against him, books and papers splattering over the floor, Kibum letting out a grunt as he fell to the floor.

He hissed, rubbing his back.

“Bummie, be a little bit more careful.” Oh, no. It couldn’t be. Key looked up, groaning loudly at the sight before him.

“Kim Jonghyun, how many times did I tell you not to call me Bummie?” he took the hand offered to him and stood up, dusting his clothes off.

“Often. Have you found someone?” Kibum glared at the other.

“You know I already introduced you to fucking 13 girls and you dumped them all, fucking all! Because, you, mister I-have -the-right-to-be-an-asshole didn’t like their fucking eyes! And you expect me to find someone else for you?” Kibum’s voice was now an octave higher as he hissed at the older boy.

Jonghyun laughed, flicking his hair and grinned at Kibum.

“I like feline, cat-like eyes and pink lips, a thin body, high cheekbones and long legs. Is it so hard to find someone like that?” Kibum snorted, arms crossed in front of his chest.

“Actually, yes it is. Because when I asked you to be precise I didn’t want you to be THAT precise I mean, come on it’s not like there are a ton of girls who look like that walking around.”

“Then find someone, I mean you are the almighty Key, aren’t you?” Jonghyun turned around, walking away and giving Kibum a I’m-the-coolest-in-the-whole-world-wave.

“Wait! Kim fucking Jonghyun!”

---

“He’s an asshole”

“Hyung, calm down.”

Kibum, threw a pillow at the boy sitting on the end of the bed, letting out a loud scream as he did.

The other was calmly avoiding the pillow by leaning back; he rolled his eyes and stood up.

“Don’t let your stupid anger out on me, why don’t you just ignore him when it pisses you off? I mean you don’t need to help him.” He took the pillow and threw it back, Kibum catching it before glaring at his younger brother.

“You don’t understand it Tae. It hurts my pride, he fucking rejected 13 of the best girls I know, I mean what does he want? Other guys would be dreaming of having a date with them. Just because he is some hot shit doesn’t mean that he can do whatever he wants.”

“Whatever, hyung.” Taemin took his mobile out of his pants’ pockets, reading the message he had received earlier and smiled sheepishly at it.

“Minho?” Kibum looked at his younger brother curiously; the other just nodded and typed a reply.

“Gotta go hyung, see ya later and don’t let this guy get on your nerves.” Taemin said, a sweet smile on his lips as he walked out of Key’s overly decorated room.

Kibum sighed, going through the contacts in his phone.

Too ugly, too fat, strange laugh, scary eyes, too shy, too hyper, no one, Kibum was out of girls he could introduce to Jonghyun. Fucker!

He let his breathing even out, he had two options: being pissed off for the rest of day because a certain playboy was rejecting girls on a daily basis or doing something productive like learning or drawing unicorns; not that drawing unicorns was in any way productive but it was fun and he wouldn’t be thinking of a person he didn’t want to think about.

So he grabbed some papers and drew.

---

Kibum entered the school building the next day, greeting everyone as usual, waving at some couples and winking at girls that showed him the thumps up sign, signalling him that their date had been great.

He opened his locker, taking out the books he needed and closed it again, nearly suffering an heart attack when a face suddenly appeared behind the locker-door he had slammed shut.

Jonghyun was grinning at him and he did his usual hair flip, looking way too confident for Kibum’s taste as he did and Key’s mood sank.

“Hey there, Bummie.” Kibum rolled his eyes and turned around, walking away, not sparing another glance at the other.

He was grabbed by his hand, harshly pulled around, so that he had to face Jonghyun again.

“I need your help.”

“No, you need the help of a psychiatrist.” Key spat, obviously annoyed by the way the other had pulled him back.

“No, not I need help, I need you to help my friend.” Kibum raised an eyebrow.

“Oh, you have friends? And can you please let go of me.” Jonghyun blushed, eliciting another eyebrow raise from Kibum -what was that?

“Yea I do have friends” Jonghyun said as he let go of Kibum’s hand “and one of them needs help with getting a date.”

Key nodded, taking out his little notebook. “Okay, so tell me who it is and with whom he wants a date and everything else you already know how it works right?”

“Lee Jinki a clumsy really nice guy who can sing and is 2nd in the school and he wants Luna, the small blonde one from their singing club.”

Kibum grinned, packing his notebook back.

“Oh, that should be no problem. Not at all.”

---

“Okay so Luna and Jinki are in the same singing club? And Jinki had a crush on her for 4 months now?” Jonghyun nodded, slurping his coffee loudly -disgusting.

They were sitting in the small coffee shop next to their school, planning everything out, though there was not much to do since the two already seemed to like each other and only needed a small push.

“He’s like; the worst one-sided love struck teenager in the world, he walks against walls and trips on air and stares at cats or random people for hours and he’s really creepy!” Jonghyun groaned, hitting his head against the table they were sitting on.

“Well that’s okay; Luna just asked me if I could hook her up with Jinki, she doesn’t seem to mind that he is a weirdo.” Jonghyun looked up, having a mix of WTF and OMG written all over his face and Kibum really had to muffle a laugh at the dumb expression the other was making.

“Just convince Jinki to ask Luna out and everything will work out.”

Jonghyun shook his head, sighing loudly. “I tried, he won’t do it. He's just too shy.”

Kibum rolled his eyes, taking a sip from his hot chocolate. “Then we just have to drag them to the city and then disappear, like they always do it in movies. I take Luna you Jinki we'll meet here, accidentally and bam!”

Jonghyun laughed, a playful glint in his eyes. “Not really creative, but effective and I get to have a date with you.” he winked at Kibum, who nearly choked on his hot chocolate and stood up, leaving the shop and a flustered Kibum behind.

“Wait! Kim Jonghyun!”

---

When Kibum walked into the coffee shop a few days later, Luna behind him, Jonghyun and Jinki were already sitting on a table in the far corner of the shop, Jonghyun winking at Kibum as a sign that he had noticed them.

Kibum turned to Luna, who was looking for a place where they could sit.

“Luna, I spotted a friend just now, let's go sit with him okay?” The girl nodded and followed him.

“Jjong, hey! What a conscience meeting you here!” Key said loudly, a little bit too loudly and walked over to the boy grinning at him, his grin a little bit too wide. Kibum looked at the boy sitting on the other side of the table, smiling widely.

“Jinki-hyung right?” The other nodded, eyeing the two suspiciously.

Jinki was a dork but he was not dumb and Jonghyun suddenly taking him out to a coffee shop, grinning stupidly and Kibum, the matchmaker suddenly appearing before him could mean nothing good.

Key sat down beside Jonghyun, looking around. “Luna? Come here.” and Jinki coughed violently, face reddening as he glared at Jonghyun, who looked at him innocently, his smile too smug to appear clueless.

Luna appeared next to the table, face as red and flushed as Jinki's and Key chuckled a little at the a little bit helpless looking girl, motioning her to sit down next to Jinki.

She sat down, face as red as a tomato and Kibum really had to hide is grin, not wanting the girl to blush even more.

She fumbled with her hair, he fumbled with his clothes and -god!- it was awkward, they didn't say anything, not even “hello.” or “how are you?”.

Key rolled his eyes and nudged Jonghyun a little, looking at him a little bit helplessly.

“Jjong, my head hurts can you bring me home, you have a car right?” it took the other a few seconds to catch up, but when he did he brightened up, nodding wildly.

They stood up, ignoring the way Luna stared at them in horror and the threatening “Jjong if you gonna leave now you're dead.” coming from Jinki and walked out, leaving the awkward lovebirds alone.

As soon as the two had left the shop, hiding around the corner they burst out laughing, Kibum clutching his stomach and Jonghyun wiping the tears running out of his eyes away.

“Oh god. Did you see their faces? This was just-”

“Hilarious.” Kibum finished, his laughter slowly dying down. He looked at Jonghyun, grinning widely and in that moment he thought that Jonghyun was not that much of an asshole he thought he was.

“I'll drive you home okay?” Key was a little bit surprised, but he nodded -who wouldn't agree to being driven home instead of having to drive the train, which was cramped with disgusting sweating and fat people?

Jonghyun smiled brightly and he looked really happy, almost excited and he grabbed Kibum by his wrist and ran, he fucking ran the whole way to his car, Kibum having no choice but to follow because of the strong grip on his wrist.

“Kim …. fucking... Jonghyun.. what the-” Kibum panted, completely out of breath.

“I felt like running.” that earned Jonghyun a slap, but he just grinned at Kibum, opening the car-door and motioning for the other to step in.

“Oh, a gentleman aren't we?” Key winked at the other, not missing the slight blush and the rather awkward laugh.

Jonghyun sat down beside him, starting the car and smiled at Kibum, doing his hair-flip.

“Okay I'll show you my amazing driving-skills now.” and Key scoffed, rolling his eyes.

“Show-off.”

In fact, Jonghyun was not a bad driver, the ride was comfortable and luckily he didn't seem to need to show his “manliness” by driving like a drunk. Kibum actually enjoyed it, though driving in a car was nothing special, really. Maybe it was Jonghyun sitting next to him that made the ride feel extremely comfortable. No, probably not. Okay, a little, but that didn't mean anything. Not. At. All.

Jonghyun turned his music on, some melancholic melody with a touch of rock playing and Key, though he was more a fan of pop actually liked it. The older began singing with the music, his voice floating like a feather through the car, gently making their way into Kibum's ears, the latter feeling his eyes becoming heavier with each passing second. And then it was black.

He woke up when the car stopped, the soft movement of the tires rolling on the street's surface suddenly missing and Kibum blinked a little. Jonghyun was smiling at him, his eyes all soft and full with care that it made Kibum blush a little.

“Hey there sleepy head.” Jonghyun flipped his hair, smiling. The smile was small and a little strange but Kibum liked it and he could feel his heart pounding a little bit harder than it should.

“I-I should go now.” Fuck! Since when did he stutter?! Key grabbed his backpack, avoiding the others gaze at all costs and was about to open the door when- “Wait!” Kibum turned around, looking a little bit irritated.

“You forgot something.” Jonghyun whispered and leaned closer until his lips brushed softly against the other's. “Your good-bye kiss.”

Kibum's cheeks turned bright red and he just stared at the other for a second, before stumbling out of the car and running to his house, entering it without looking back. The front-door slammed shut and Jonghyun grinned a little, licking his lips as he started his car again.

Kibum ran to his room, roughly slamming his door shut, his face still red, his heart still puinding furiously.

“I thought you hate him.” Taemin was grinning at him, his eyes looking extremely mocking.

“Shut up.”

“I was just saying.”

“It's none of your business Tae.”

“I was just wondering why you would kiss someone you don't like.” Taemin smiled to himself, looking back to the book he had been reading.

“I was NOT kissing him. He kissed me!” Kibum shrieked, his face even redder (if that was even possible) and his younger brother just shrugged it off, his expression back to the uninterested teeny look he always wore.

“But you seemed to like it.” he said more to his book, than Kibum and Key just groaned loudly, grabbing a towel and his pyjamas and walked to the bathroom. Talking with an uninterested teenager was just frustrating.

---

“Kibuuuuuum, you are sooo mean!! you left me alooone!” Luna was pouting at him, an action that wasn't as cute as it was supposed to be. Key rolled his eyes, at the moment he was seriously not in the mood to talk about someone else's date.

“You got hooked up with Jinki, that's what you wanted, so stop complaining.”

“But it was soo horrible.” The girl said, her voice disgustingly whiny.

“Why?” Kibum raised an eyebrow, he had expected the girl to start blbbering about how great it was and how sweet Jinki was and the usual stuff.

“He is just so slow and he is so clumsy; I was totally embarrassed to walk around with him and I always thought he was sweet when he smiled but actually it's really creepy, cause he is like smiling all the time! And he is a total chicken addict, I hate chicken! And his jokes are sooo not funny! Kibum can you find me another guy?” Kibum scoffed.

“Actually, no. Jinki is my friend I totally don't like the way you talk about him, so; no! I won't. Go find a guy by yourself.” Kibum stood up, smiling at the totally shocked girl and walked away.

---

“It totally didn't work like we wanted it to huh.”

“Nope.”

“And Jinki said Luna was strange?”

“Yep.”

“Wow I totally thought they could make a good couple.”

“Even the almighty Key is wrong sometimes.”

“Shut up.” Kibum threw a fried potato at Jonghyun, glaring at the other, before looking back at his food, face a little flushed.

“Uhm, so what was that about the other time?” he could hear his heart pounding loudly, he definitely didn't want to talk about that “incident” how he liked to call it but somehow he felt the urge to clean things up.

“What?”

“The thing in the car.” Kibum wanted to slap himself for blushing and not finding the courage to look the other in the face.

“Dunno, what do you want it to be about?” Fucker!

“I asked you something, do you have to answer with a counter question?”

“Calm down Bummie. I did it cause I felt like doing it.”

“You like me.”

“Maybe.”

“You do.”

Jonghyun smiled and suddenly he was closer, a lot closer, leaning over the small table in the coffee shop, completely oblivious to the stares they were getting. And he captured Kibum's lips, slow and sweet, no tongue or anything and Kibum could feel the other smile as he responded, giving in to the butterflies in his stomach.
