OOC | Character Relationships

In honor of my week anniversary, I'm posting this, though I'm sure it's still far too soon. But. Meh. I've always enjoyed jumping the gun.

I've seen enough of these charts around the community by now, I'm sure you all know what to do; comment if you want to hear what Kenta feels about your character!

L - or "Ryuzaki-san" as Kenta knows him

Undeniably Kenta's best friend in Adstringendum; though they didn't have the best start, once they'd struck up a sort of truce concerning L's compulsive lying habits, a tenuous sort of friendship formed soon after. It has only seemed to grow exponentially since then. Ryuzaki is Kenta's most important person here. If someone hurt him, Kenta would feel very put out. If Ryuzaki told him to avoid someone, he probably would. Considering how few deep connections Kenta's ever had in his life, it'll be interesting to see how far he'll be willing to go to please Ryuzaki. Losing him is probably the worst possible thing that could happen to Kenta right now.

Haseo

Like many of Kenta's first impressions, these two got off to a rather bad start, likely because they're so similar. However, while Kenta still feels rather strongly that Haseo's got a bad attitude, he can appreciate that the kid is polite when he wants to be and, overall, is mostly a good kid. He also fiercly enjoys teasing him, as it's not too often that Kenta finds someone easier to rile than himself. He's completely content to let Haseo stay with him, if he so chooses - it's nice to have the sound of someone else's breathing in that big place.

Hitsugaya

Though Kenta has yet to actually meet Hitsugaya in person, and though Hitsugaya is not the most talkative person around, Kenta genuinely likes him. He likes that Hitsugaya is patient with him, above all else, but he appreciates the fact that Hitsugaya has promised to train him, and he trusts his judgement almost unfailingly. Hitsugaya may remind him a bit of Michiru, which would go a ways to explain why he's been so particularly stubborn in pursuing conversations with him. His opinions on Hitsugaya will not change once they finally meet, however, he may grow extremely protective of the shinigami that he will, in essence, view as a child.

Ginia

The first friendly "voice" Kenta met in Adstring, while he was busy being a whiny brat. Patient, and the strong female presence that Kenta seems to need in his life; he may have a tiny crush on her, as she's the exact type that Kenta seems to surround himself with, though goodness knows he'll never do anything about it. Always enjoys speaking with her and would probably do a whole heck of a lot to try and help her, if he was ever made aware of her current troubles.

Skyler

Because Kenta and him spent so very long conversing through text before it was revealed that Skyler was a pokemon, Kenta rarely, if ever, thinks about that aspect of Skyler. Kenta believes that he is quite competent, and appreciates the concern that Skyler held for the plant life, where so few people would bother to cast their attention. Feels that they bonded well over memories, but would like to speak more with him.

Al

Kenta genuinely likes Al, no catches, no hang ups. He thinks that Al is a sweet boy, and appreciates all the help that Al offered him with the well. He'd like more opportunites to speak with him again, and is interested in maybe stretching with him, because that sort of thing is always better with company. Wouldn't hesitate to offer the boy a hand, and despite the jokes, if it came down to it, he'd try his best to protect Al instead of the other way around.

Ichigo, or That Orange Haired Kid

While Kenta doesn't believe for a second that this kid's hair is natural, and feels that he's a bit of a punk, he doesn't really hold any of this against Ichigo. Because Kenta was sort of like that at his age too (though some may argue that he still is). Kenta enjoys riling him up; he definitely wouldn't say no to talking to him again - and maybe even finding out his name X3.

B

Relations with B are tricky. For one, the guy's obviously got issues with Ryuzaki - or L, as Kenta has recently learned - that don't even really deserved to be called issues anymore, they're so big. Regardless of any sort of common sense that should be telling him to keep away, some small part of Kenta likes B. He sees his oldself - the unhappy, unmotivated self that blamed everyone and everything around him but himself - in B, and he wants to help him. Hopefully, this won't end up getting him in trouble.

Unohana, or The Scary Lady

Kenta's only spoken with this lady a handful of times and already he's terrified. It's not like she's actually done anything overtly threatening, but he knows that smile when he sees it, and he'd rather not tempt her into anything. He sort of thinks of her like an Adstring version of Manabe - albeit, a more distant one, who does her hair up freaky weird and doesn't force him to dress up like a goat. In other words, he likes her, though she terrifies him, regardless.
