Living together and seeing each other for an extended period of time will def lead to arguments..disagreements..and annoyance with each other. What Nate needs to understand is that working thru them is what makes a lasting relationship. =D No relationship is perfect but communication, understanding and patience will make it more realistic and lasting in the long run.
