I had my first run in with the Burnsville PD last night. Don't worry, I didnt do anything wrong. It started about 9:15 when I was working. Megan, one of the managers, came up to me and said that they were checking if people wanted to get out of there early at 10 rather than 11. I told her that it didn't matter to me. A) I can't believe it took the Burnsville PD 30 minutes to get there.
B) I can't believe they just left without waiting for the manager to arrive.

Nate, you should have totally ransacked the store!

After posting, I noticed that I made it look like all the cops left. Just one of the cop cars left, and the one that tried to communicate with me through the doors stayed and waited.

They have fire exits, but they set off alarms. They also lock all of the main doors once the store closes, and when someone leaves they have to find a manager to unlock the door for them. It isnt a problem Monday night through Friday night because there is a night crew. It is just Saturday and Sunday when it could be a problem.

That's awful. You should call up MTV's Homewreckers on whoever was last to leave without telling you.

The police aren't very helpful any more anywhere. My car got hit in Ames, IA, on Saturday and when I called the cops, the dispatcher not only wasn't interested in helping me, but she was a flat-out bitch with me.

The dispatcher was like that with me too, when I years ago I called 911 while I was driving and I spotted an irrational driver. She only gave me the oppertunity to let her know I was southbound on 35 E in Little Canada when she hung up on me, a quarter mile later the irrational driver hit a truck and rolled into the ditch.
