Oh, we still want to expatriate... but it's not such a dire proposition for the next 4 years.

Had Romney won I'd be packing today. As it stands, we have time to finish our respective educations before we look to jump ship. (Midwives and Nuclear Medicine Techs are on the Long Term Skills Shortage List for New Zealand.)
