I would have thought having the chalizions removed from your eyes would have left more room for the mechanical knowledge...
Here's my car story: when trying to describe the recent repairs to my car, I would say, "The rear brakes were leaking so the garage had to do something with the thingies. The front whatevers needed new pads and the rotors needed rotating because they were.....something...."
