I don't see that on my LJ. But I have a paid account. Never been a problem for me to pay for the service - it's worth 2$ a month.

Really don;t use Facebook, alas.

And oof for Joe, but yeah, scars atop your head are either invisible or make you look tough. You did make the "Now people will tell you two apart easier" joke, right?

So I changed my theme or upgraded my style or some damned thing. Maybe that will help.

I've got a paid (permanent) account from a number of years ago, but Firefox with Noscript and Adblock solves a lot of those problems.

Oh dear.. I've had a paid LJ account foreverrrrr, so haven't seen any of the awful ads they've included. But with all that's going on regarding FB, I don't think I could invest myself there right now either..

That is the only alternative?
