[When Sam wakes up, and he's not somewhere he recognizes right away, he has a bit of a panic, but when he looks over and sees Dean sleeping in the next bed, less panic, more okay this is weird. Dean's back is to him though, so he just keeps looking around until his eyes fall on someone very familiar]
COOPER!
[that was a little too loud, probably, but Sam doesn't care as he's bouncing off the bed and jogging over to drop down and pet the hell out of his brother's dog. Cooper isn't the only animal in the room though, and soon Alice is nudging her way over, looking for some attention, not that Sam minds in the slightest. scratches her behind the ears as he checks her tags]
Guess you're mine, huh?
[pause]
Alice. Alice Cooper. Ha, ha, Dean.
[then glances over when he hears growling, and frowns at Hekyll and Jekyll]
Who do you belong to?
[they're forgotten a moment later, as Sam goes back to petting the other two dogs, and talking to them, though he's completely forgotten that the journal's probably open]
Guess I'm back here, huh? Wonder if everybody's still around.
[ Loss start! And I'm off to work, so tags will probably be slow.]
