2 - settling in - 2
I know everyone's been sayin' they were friendly an' all, but I gots to say... I'm all manner of relieved them spiders aren't still around. Gave me the willies, wanderin' all about the place like that.
[doodling a little flower in the corner of the page as she continues] It's kinda nice, havin' a bit of free time. Like a vacation of sorts. But I miss Serenity.
Hasn't even been a full week an' I already feel fidgety, not havin' her around to make sure she's alright. I guess I'm just hopin' what everyone's sayin' is right and I'm still there, takin' care of her and keepin' her in the sky, strange as that is. An' hopefully we'll get back there soon, so's I can see for myself.
....since I'm here now, though.... anyone got any machines need fixin'? I don't quite feel natural without one to work on.
[and, with that, Kaylee's going to just go explore the gardens, because if she's going to be stuck on the planet, she wants a closer look at the beautiful things she's been looking at from her window]
