[Rin's spent the morning shopping and kicking around in town, and finally at around two o'clock she settles for a late lunch and to skim through the journal. The sounds of townspeople chatting idly and traffic moving by filter through the journals as she eventually decides to dictate something.]
Good afternoon, everyone! I have a few questions, if you'll bear with me for a minute or two. For starters, lately I've been thinking and I'm wondering if someone here could teach me some things about first aid. I'm not looking for a crash course on surgery, unless somebody's that interested, but I guess what I want is more like the basic stuff. If we head out to the dead zone again and someone gets hurt, say - I'd like to know how to do field work.
In addition, I'm wondering if anyone here knows how to make or fly hot air balloons? They're flying technology, maybe good for survey work, and I figure they don't actually have engines, do they? It's all basic physics, so they might be useful for work out -
[a pause, and clinking crockery as the waiter comes to her table and puts some plates down.] Your meal, miss. I'll be here if you need anything else as well.

I was also looking for some book recommendations. Especially poetry, I've been in the mood lately.
