[John is out by the stables, riding on one of the horses. Why? Because he felt like it, that's why. He's getting ready for a nice ride out to see if he can find the direction the WTFallo herd is going in, before getting his bro Alistair to come with him on an adventure!!!
Before he gets away from the stable door however, a cougar leaps out of the undergrowth something spooks the horse, causing it to rear up, John's journal slipping from his pack and onto the floor, open]
WHOAH, THERE! WHOAHHHHHH SHIT!
[That heavy bang? That would be John's head connecting with the side of the stable building as the horse backs into it. And the following thump? John falling off his horse onto the ground. And then there's silence, as John slips into unconscious-land.
