[ claire has taken it upon herself to duck out of her room and start braving the turtledove infested parts of the castle again, but only out of obligation. okay, maybe not obligation, but cabin fever practically counts. she needs fresh air every once in a while.
and today, she's decided to get it by wandering outside, taking mr. muggles and penny for a walk in hopes that maybe the turtledoves won't find a place to land. or that her dogs will scare them off since she's elected to not put either on a leash. hopefully the latter.

Not that I'm not enjoying the extended slumber party while Akihiko and I hide out from the birds, but I'd like to see some fresh air every once in a while. What are the chances someone managed to find a way to, uh ... set our feathered friends free in a humane way that encourages them to leave us alone?
[ a pause and a sigh. ] Or kill them. At this point, I might settle for killing. Maybe I should be asking if anyone has a spare battle axe lying around.
