[ in a familiar and quaint little home on a farm, two caped figures land on the house's porch with big smiles on their faces. one is karen, who is chuckling and talking about how easy their fight went and she was thankful for it considering it was christmas. the other person is someone many might recognize -- it's kal, only a lot older looking, the side of his hair already grayed. he puts a hand on karen's shoulders and they step inside the kent farmhouse where they are greeted with the delicious smell of cooked chicken and other tempting food.
the first to welcome them back is lois kent. setting down the forks and knives, she turns and smiles at her husband and cousin-in-law. like this kal, she's much older and walks a little slowly but there's no denying these two are clark and lois.
after helping prepare the table and getting changed, the entire family sits down and gets ready to dig into their food.
