22. Slenderman
[Aziraphale had been working tirelessly1 after the first child had disappeared, moving into the archive section of the library and methodically checking every single book for any clues.
His heart ached for the missing children, for the terror and pain they are all feeling, and consequently his corner of the library is a little darker and colder than is natural. The room feeling the vibes from the angel and reacting accordingly.
The journal is open constantly to hear of any other news, and so it catches his first exclamation as he discovers a sheet of paper marked with a red sticker in the top corner.]

...Yes... Oh dear. I believe I have found something else, a diary entry which seems to follow the previous one about the child 'Deema' taken by the creature. I am transcribing it here in full.

Some people have been offering to be the sacrifices, if we do that. Other people -- their friends and family -- are vehemently against it, because we lose no matter what.
But to get Deema back..."
