Eighty Second Song

[Things are not too great at Cassa Del Lorne at this moment in time. With Faith on the loose, and people from his world all crammed into Caritas for their own protection, tempers were sure to get frayed. It was inevitable. Being an empath demon while the people you considered your family were getting all...antsy with each other was not a fun thing. In fact, it ranked pretty high on Lorne's un-fun-o-meter. Right after the apocalypse and watching a juicer high school production of Cats.

And so, Lorne is sitting in Caritas, playing a mournful little tune on the piano, his journal open to one side to pick up the music. He might not be the type to openly admit when something was bugging him, and stay forever the team's cheerleader, but this was one avenue he could get his feelings out with. After he finishes playing, he sighs, starting to speak]

Whoever said poetry was food for the soul clearly hadn't spent a night listening to Dionne Warwick. Just saying. It takes the first few notes of Heartbreaker, and I'm sold.

[He starts playing again a much more upbeat tune this time]

So come on, cats and kittens. Give me something to ponder on while I'm stuck here. What's the music for your soul?
