After spending so much time here, I can't help but wonder how much time it will take until a person's previous world becomes meaningless. Perhaps not their character or their moral standing, but the events and state of their worlds immediately before their arrival here--how many years does it take until that becomes irrelevant? What if someone were to stay here for five, ten, twenty years? That's enough time to change the average human, if not others.
Three years in Paradisa, three more years of my life. I still don't feel a day over twenty.
[he laughs.] Ah, I've been absent of late. What has everyone been up to? The place hasn't smelled of blood for a while, so I assume those of you in the castle are getting along well enough.
