[definitely upset] They couldn't remember details. Not really. It's just gossip passed on from person to person. But if we can believe rumors, people have been disappearing for awhile now.

A month at least. Some of the kids in my art class were saying it had even been longer than that, but I'm not sure we can trust that. I don't think they're lying...but the castle throws enough things at us that, any further back than that, and it's kind of impossible to tell if it'd be the same reason or not.

You could just ask. They get a bit huffy when I talk to them, but their people are missing. It wouldn't hurt to see if they'd be willing to let us help.

Maybe it's because of my appearance, but usually I get ignored when I try asking for information. And they aren't very fond of castle residents either...

I don't know if it would help. I can't really guarantee they'd have a different reaction if I asked. But I've been running the charity with Rin for several months now, and they know me. Maybe if she and I asked, they'd give in?

...or would that do more harm than good?
