[She'll find herself bumping into someone who is very tall and mysterious and skinny. But not a redhead, unfortunately. He lets out a hiss as he's BOWLED OVER by the little angel, sending him to the ground and completely ruining his disguise. A few little vials filled with tiny sprouts roll blithely across the walkway.
Damn, she's stronger than she looks. So's Krasus, but /still/. Silver hair streaked with red spills across his shoulders. Two long, thin ears feature prominently, accentuating the sharp yet handsome features of his face. He's pale-- almost sickeningly so-- and to ruin whatever elven beauty he might have had, there are three painful claw marks trailing over one eye.
He looks annoyed, but he's otherwise fine. When he realizes it was a child he feels kind of bad.]
mimiiiii♥♥♥♥;; hello honeybbcakesthelifemeddlerApril 20 2011, 07:33:43 UTC
I am fine. [He kneels, dusts himself off, then gets up.] That was quite a tumble. I believe I have only ever been hit that hard on purpose. [He offers her a hand up. There's something strange about her life force, but he can't put a finger on it.]
:DDD I'M EXCITED TOO LET'S MAKE THIS AWESOMEthelifemeddlerApril 20 2011, 08:12:45 UTC
[Wow. She is so... not... what he's expecting. Seriously. She's like a child, though she's clearly a human teenager. All smiles and curls and sweetness.
He really has no idea wtf to do.]
I suppose telling you to be more careful would not work; the clumsiness has already taken hold. Thankfully, the plants here are very resilient.
That is correct. Even the seeds produced by the flowers of annuals give rise to newer flowers that will grow, blossom, and eventually nourish the next season.
[This is one of his queen's favorite places, and he can see why.]
What is your favorite of the plants gathered here?
[He pauses, and then his lips curve into a small smile.] Very much so. [Especially to old people like him.]
All of them? [He shows her a plant with dull white flowers in a small, odd shape. They're very plain.] What of this one? It has neither the color nor the shape of the others.
Oh... [she kind of reaches forward to brush one of the petals with her finger, and it makes her smile] It smells really nice, and I think white is pretty color for a flower.

Are you all right, young one?

I-I'm so sorry! Are you okay?

Really? I fall down all the time, and that wasn't really a bad one! At least no one got hurt.

Mm, all plants are really resilient, aren't they? They're able to come back every spring, and they always look so beautiful.

Um... [hmmmm, she carefully considers them] That's such a hard decision! They're all beautiful.

[But it does have a nice scent.]

You have very good eyes... and nose, I should say. The flowers might blush if they cared naught for their color.

Thank you! A blushing flower would be so cute... although- [hmmm ~thoughtful~] Would the petals turn pink?
Reply
[This isn't relevant to Colette's interests at /all/.]

Oh, I hope that's not the reason! It would still be just as pretty if it was pink.

I think so, too.

Is that why you're here in the garden? Do you like plants?
