I think those guys were harmless. At most my cat felt threatened by those little... soot balls. Whatever they were.

Yeah, that was pretty interesting too. I've seen weirder, but at least they didn't seem dangerous.

Oh, I've been here about two months now. Apparently I got here right after that awful thing that kidnapped kids.

I probably would have been able to help. But from the sounds of it, everybody got it under control anyway, in the end.

Yeah, we got the kids back safe and sound. I can't speak for how they're doing after it but... [ it's just important they came back alive. ]

Sure. Things like that can take a little getting used to. But kids usually bounce back pretty well.
