[ journal: ] Probably a trick. I wouldn't eat one if I were you. Even though it may seem like a gift for the Easter holiday ... from what I've heard of the castle, you might turn into a rabbit or something if you eat one.

[ a laugh. ] Of that I have no doubt. While I cannot remember if any food give to us has turned residents in animals it has surely done other things many would rather forget.

Oh great. Remind me not to touch a thing in this castle. [ She sighs. ] I can't speak for myself, but there's always a first time for everything.

And while I'm on this subject, is your room filled with eggs or am I just special?

You were not the only one, I woke to something of a small pond of eggs in my room.

Can't say I'm disappointed that I'm not special in this little prank. I hope they disappear by the day's end or I won't be able to get a decent night's sleep. Sitting out in the corridor outside my room is one thing, but sleeping in it is another.

There are unoccupied rooms that you could use, but I doubt they are any safer than your own. [ it is a good idea though, now that she thinks about it. ]

[ Thanks for the information. Piper will keep that in mind. ] I think I'd prefer the corridor than another room. I can hardly trust my own room as it is - what with the Easter eggs flooding it. [ She rolls her eyes ]

[ Piper is quiet for a moment. Something has caught her attention. Beside her in the corridor is an egg, sitting innocently by her. ] I swear, this egg that is right next to me wasn't there before. I'd watch out - seems as though the eggs just appear out of nowhere and are everywhere. [ No place is safe. :( ]

[ CAREFUL PIPER, IT MIGHT EAT YOU!! Morgana sighs, honestly not that surprised about the information at all, especially when one drops from the ceiling in front of her. ]

Then the town may be our safest option, usually the castle's tricks do not extend that far. [ a beat. ] That is if they do not disappear when night comes.

[ D: THANKS FOR THE HEADS UP MORGANA. \o ]

And here I was, thinking the town would be less safer than the castle. [ She sighs. Though, she'll store that piece of knowledge for later. The town seems to be looking better and better. That'll teach Piper to judge a book by her own assumptions. ] I really hope it does end before night. If this trick is based on the Easter holiday, hopefully it'll only last 'til the end of today. Otherwise, well, we may be experiencing a few more days of it. [ Goddamn you Easter. D:< ]

In truth it is no safer than the castle, however it does have it's advantages. [ if you ignore the not so pleasant townspeople and the disappearances it is a nice place! really! ] If it lasts for a few more days I am sure many of the residents may be tempted to tear the castle down a second time.

[ You had her at 'tear the castle down': ] A second time? [ Attempts to recover from shock: ] You mean, like tearing a piece of paper out of a book? That kind of tearing?

A little like that, only more... violent. It proved futile, however, the castle returned to the state you see it in now quickly.

So don't try and destroy the castle - it'll only just rebuild itself. Got it.

I'm surprised you all were about to destroy it to the point where it had to return to it's original state. Seems as though, despite it being indestructible, the castle can fall down for a few seconds. I hope no one was seriously hurt, though?

[ a sharp inhale. ] It had done something that... well many try to forget, suffice to say it was the last straw.

No, there were a few minor injuries but for the most part everyone was safe when the castle fell.

Oh, great. So the Castle definitely does have a death wish. I hope for everyone who went through that's sake that the Castle thinks twice before doing what it apparently did. Doesn't exactly calm my nerves knowing that it can piss us all the hell off.

And sorry for bringing those memories up. If I had known the Castle had been as bad as that, I wouldn't have brought it up.

You do not have to apologize, worst things have happened, in comparison that incident was rather... tame.
