[Ever since he got the directions to the greenhouse from Jade, Kanda's set himself up his own little corner of various plants. He's currently kneeling down, gloves to the side and sleeves rolled up as he works at settling another plant into a pot. Separated to the side are a couple dying plants, with healthier counterparts nearby to replace them.

[Much like their last conversation, Pharos appears without a sound from nowhere; though his attention doesn't immediately seem to be on Kanda himself, instead preoccupied with looking at the dying plants, which he reaches out to gingerly brush his fingers over.]

...really, it is no wonder death is a feared idea if it looks like this.

They're plants, it's not that big of a deal if they die. [Okay he gets where Pharos was going with that, but he doesn't feel like entertaining the topic.]

[He looks genuinely curious about that.] I recall hearing once that plants grew if you spoken to them.. so I would imagine if you spoke things that were unpleasant, it might be a detriment to their growth.
