[Adachi opted to stay behind. Man, whatever got the two of them out of his hair for a while was fine by him. Maybe now he could get some peace and quiet.

...Except after a while he starts to get a little bit restless. Is the little one doing okay? She hasn't hurt herself with any of that horsing around yet, has she? No other parents' bratty boy is trying to pull on her braid in a childish form of flirting, right? She and Meilinh aren't worn out yet, are they?

...wait, why does he care. Thinking that, he tries to go back to whatever it was he was doing.

Except the problem is, for some reason, he does care. Just trying to stop doing so isn't really working out. Geez.

A-Ah, no I think I'm good- [OH NO WAIT HE CAN FEEL THOSE LITTLE GIRL PUPPY DOG EYES ON HIM WITHOUT EVEN LOOKING GODDAMNIT MAYOKO.

He tries to resist for a few seconds longer before finally giving up and taking a seat by the pots, amidst cheers from a happy daughter. He doesn't touch them though]
