[Adachi's just kinda loitering around outside the castle, not really doing much as per usual. He's got his journal open, reading entries and occasionally doodling in it to pass the time. He keeps looking behind him though, as if he keeps expecting something to run at him. That something being a little girl rushing in because she wanted something: an answer to a question, permission to do something, knowledge of what daddy's doing or maybe just a hug (that was always the most embarrassing)
After the fifth time he frowns. Mayoko had been gone for a few days already and had only been here for a week. Yet getting used to life without her was going to take a few more days at the least. He ends up turning back to the book and mumbling to himself]
Geez, I didn't think I'd end up saying this, but I'm almost starting to miss the little kid...
