Well, life in Paradisa is certainly far from dull. And this library - oh, it's utterly incredible!

[She speaks softly, dictating to her journal as she wanders the aisles of books. Every now and then, she stops her explorations to pick up a specific title.]

I've never seen so many books. I wonder if I could find... [The sentence trails off as

Usually I just wish it up. [ And here appears a cup of coffee beside Piper. ] I haven't ventured far out of the Castle kitchen - or my room - for any cafes.

Oh? And how come? From what I've seen and heard, there's a whole town out there to explore.

[moleculars]

I ... [ consider Piper completely stumped ] it's just easier, I guess. At home, I'd never really have time to make myself a cup of coffee, let alone drink it. I guess I'm still sort of living in that timeline.

And I'm not too keen on exploring just yet.

It's been quite some time since I was last home in my flat in South Croydon. I've been traveling with a friend of mine for... oh, for months by now.

I suppose I'm still in that mindset myself. Exploring is a big part of our trips.

[moleculars]

Months? I can only handle a few days - a few hours, at most. [ Piper laughs ] Have you been to any place similar to Paradisa?

[his_sarah_jane]

Not quite. This has to be the absolutely strangest world I've ever been on, and that's certainly saying something.

You'd think after being possessed by giant spiders, one would meet their strangeness quota.

[moleculars]

[ Piper might freak out at that. ] Possessed by a spider?

[his_sarah_jane]

Mmhmm.

Not an experience I would ever recommend. The queen spider herself took control of my mind, in order to obtain a crystal needed to extend her power.

[moleculars]

[ There is a huge pause. ] Please tell me you're joking. [ Piper is afraid of spiders. And oh dear lord, just thinking about this happening makes her skin crawl. ]

[She wishes she could say that she's joking. Sarah Jane wishes she could say a number of things that she's witnessed since meeting the Doctor didn't happen.

But alas, it's all true.] I honestly wish.

[moleculars]

I hate spiders. I hope you got something nice in return for being turned into that.

[his_sarah_jane]

Not quite.

[Stopping the spider queen is what caused the Doctor to regenerate. Even if he didn't die, it had still been something of a fright to think how close he was in doing so.]

[moleculars]

Did you get turned into anything worse than that? I'm not sure what can beat a spider, but ... that's pretty tough to beat.

[his_sarah_jane]

Possessed, not turned. I -- don't even want to imagine what being turned into a spider would be like. I rather like being human, thank you very much.

[moleculars]

I'd prefer humans to stay humans and spiders to, well ... be extinct or just leave me alone.

I feel you on the being possessed bit. It's not pretty, nor do I like it. Why can't these things go possess other people? [ It should be as simply as that! ]
