[and, for the first time since he woke up, Booth's grinning like a kid in a candy store. Because those guns are just cool. He's picking up a pair of the pistols and pretending to sight targets with them]
[Someone's finally dressed, complete with eyepatch, picking up a nearby cutlass and twirling the handle in her hand, getting a feel for it when she sees you.]
I know extremely little about guns. I heard rumors back home of an elf working with them or some kind of construct called an android, but little else beyond what I've seen here of them.
[that's more serious. He doesn't look any happier] Damned castle.
If that's the case, you might want to stick to weapons you know until after this whole thing is over. Firing a gun takes depth perception and that's gonna be pretty difficult with one eye.

...the blades and stuff I can't help you with. But these babies... [he gestures to the assortment of firearms] These I can tell you about.
[which he will...in detail... as long as she'll let him, including how to load them, firing tips, and any other information that comes into his mind. The man knows his firearms]
Perhaps we can trade information? I am quite familiar with blades and other melee weapons. Even if I specialize with a spear, most everyone learns how to handle a blade of some sort back home, even if just as an initial training weapon.
An instructor can never finish teaching. Or learning.

[Which means time to learn!
Her other eye blinks.]
Something wrong?

[tucking one of the pistols in his belt, he'll gesture towards his eye] I was just...you seem to be getting into the whole pirate theme.

[She shakes her head as her tone shifts to disgust. Not for you, just...the situation.]

[Stubborn old elf is stubborn.
She takes a better look around and lets out a soft huh.]
...They really packed this full. I wonder how long we're supposed to be here.

...I can show you. We'll just have to find a better spot than the ship. Too many people around.

[She inspects the food stocks as well as pockets a couple knives for now. By the angels, that is a lot of booze.]
What can you tell me about the weaponry on board here?
