[at first Adachi thought nothing of it. While he hardly approved of nice, young girls being out late at night, it was Colette's life and if she wanted to stay out late for some reason then it wasn't his business staying up late worrying about her. She probably had something she needed to do or whatever. He'd see her in the morning undoubtedly and he could ask then where she was.
Except he didn't see her the next morning, and her bed didn't even look like it'd been slept in. So... she hadn't come home at all? That was far more worrying. Sure, there could be numerous reasons to stay out late, but not coming home at all? Without notice? That seemed out of character to him from how he knew her. Plus, it was kind of awkward... staying in someone's room when that someone wasn't even there...
So he grabs his journal and flips to a new page]
