[With a very undignified grunt, Watson manages to at least sit up and then look around the place, obviously something like a lobby if the decor and such were right, and well its Watson so he ends up just observing the area round him, even noticing the obviously open journal nearby, and even if he is dead acute observation is still a strong skill of ( Read more... )

[This is not what he wanted to hear after waking up after a two-week long sleep, thank you very much. God, it's like hearing the Ghost of Christmas Past talking or something. He saw you die, you know. And he was very sad about it on the inside (of course) but yeah, this is a shock.]

It's you.

[Yeah, still figuring out what to say here.]

[Oh you had to be kidding yes? He knew that voice, and it was enough to cause him to well you know, stare hard at the journal resist the urge to shake it some. But instead he also feels something like relief at hearing it, at least he knows someone, even if said someone would never admit he felt something about his passing and all.]

[Just because he's relieved at hearing you doesn't mean he has to sound pleased about it. Of all people why did it have to be you?]

The last time we talked you were a lot more dead than you are now.

[He says it matter of factly, as if talking to people you saw die is an everyday matter. Well, at least it isn't Druitt he's talking to right now. He'll take you over him any day.]

Been here long?

Yes, I was lying on a floor in my failing suit, yes I recall that, quite clearly thank you. And you were off in a corner sulking.

[He says it very conversationally, after all it is fact, and he's not one to squelch away from it. Though he's not sure who he would take right now...he had been getting along well with John before he died..and yet at least he knew where you stood all the time with him, and well at least you're helpful in an investigative capacity. So right now yes he would take you over John.]

I only just arrived, I'm, sitting in a lobby with the most interesting chandelier, and a lack of tea. [Sounding some what pained as he's shifting some in his seat to get comfortable.]
