Once you arrive at Chimera headquarters, you are directed into the office, where the other members, old and new, start to gather.

Felix is off to the side for now, leaning back against a desk with a stack of notebooks dominating the surface, and watching everyone like the lord of a rather tiny domain.

[She is quiet for a long time.]

In my own world, I have spent many hours in the thoughts of a great Enemy, the Dark Lord Sauron, though I do so willingly. Verily, my time here is the first in centuries I have not felt his presence pushing against my own mind, seeking to pay me back in kind. If you require aid in coping, I may be able to be of some assistance.

Thank you. [she smiles] I've been meditating when I can... it helps some. I think I'm going to do the opposite, though. I might be able to use it to help us stop him.

[And she smiles in return.] I would expect no less of you. I am certain I need not caution you to take care not to lose yourself.

[She nods, looking very tired] I'm doing everything I can. Hopefully the link will be severed when we stop him.

Have you experienced something of this nature before?

[nods] Twice. Once with another psychic who was trapped in a time loop in the past. The other time was with a succubus... a demon.

[Phoebe, your life is clearly insane. She does, however, look a little relieved.]

Then I need not be overly concerned on your behalf.

With the succubus the link only broke when she was destroyed... hopefully we can find another way this time.

And the other instance?

I was connected with a psychic in a time loop. When we stopped the loop the connection was severed.

The others from my world and I were in conflict, I thought it best if I let them be for a time and sought refuge elsewhere.
