Helloooo, Paradisa, and welcome to the first -- Issue? Edition? -- whatever, of ... what are we calling this?

I'm not calling it anything. "Things Ino Said and Sakura wrote about"?

That's the dumbest name I've ever heard of. ... But alright, it'll work until we think of a better one. Anyways, in honor of the summer, which will end pretty soon, we' ( Read more... )

[You know what ladies? James's respect for you both went down a little bit with this. Well, more his respect for Ino, at least Sakura was trying to be helpful. But still.

Bathing suits?]

Ladies, may I, inquire as to why this is such an issue? [Says the man who hasn't updated his sense of style since the early 1900's.]

I can think of stranger ones...

...

I hope none of those are ever made.

That would be wise...stranger ones, may, invite other forms of showing displeasure other then through the journal if it unintentionally or not, targets someone sensitive.

There's one headache I'd appreciate being able to avoid!

I would imagine so with a friend like Ms. Yamanaka.

[ Silent laughter, if some of the sound of it is recorded. ]

Yes, especially with a friend like Ino.

[He'll join in with the laughing somewhat.]

At least your friendship is never boring and you always have something to do. Even if its keeping her safe.

[ She's glad he "gets" it, to an extent. ]

There's something to be said for that, and I think most the time it's positive.

[He's an understanding man, even if he did get told some, fun things, about his world after his death.]

Yes there is, there is indeed.

So besides this lovely venture, how have you been Ms. Haruno?

I've been well. Keeping myself busy, which tends to be my habit. How about you, Mr. Watson?

There is nothing wrong with keeping yourself busy, I do it enough myself. I've been, well enough, helping an old friend, acclimate to the castle, catching up on what all occurred after my death in my world.

Ah, I'm sorry, were you... aware of your own death before?

Nothing to be sorry for, I knew I was going to my death, was pulled from the brink of it upon arriving here. Nearly was dead actually. The, exosuit that kept me alive, failed.

I see. It happens more often than I think people really realize...

What's an exosuit?

It wouldn't surprise me in the least. Death is an easy place to pluck a person from and drop them into a new place.

An exosuit is a mechanical apparatus, that aides or enhances the body's movement. They can also regulate heart and lung function and more then likely many other things, but that was what mine did. It, allowed me to live to the age of 160.

[ why did so many try to live so long? ]

Then when the suit failed, your life support failed. Why... the exosuit?
