It's difficult to say whether or not any of these are really malfunctions or not, but at some point a couple years ago, our host kept spitting up elements from past... events, you could call them. Its usual grandeur wasn't quite up to speed that week, either. One theory was that it was resetting itself.

I honestly can't recall if that was after the particularly over-the-top Christmas or before everyone's memories got plastered all over the walls--but there's some evidence of it in the journal somewhere.
