[ Anyone who passes through the lobby will find a certain winged girl sleeping in a chair. She's sitting upright but decidedly asleep. There's no telling how soundly she's sleeping so even just walking past might wake her! ]

He frowns deeply, but does take out his journal just to try something. He immediately filters a page to her and simply writes:]

nill?

[no kana or kanji, just straight up romanji. Hopefully she'll understand what he's trying to do and get out her book too. If she replies then he can hopefully tell what language she DOES understand but if she doesn't even understand the roman alphabet then he's really fucked.]

[ luckily she does understand! so she pulls out her own book (which is actually not the journal because filtering everything is such a pain) and writes in german hello ]
