Alright, the communication breakdown was rather humorous - at least it was to me. As far as harmless tricks go, I'd give it a three out of five.

[She sounds quire bored]

I suppose after engaging in a fight with Ritful, the aftermath just seems entirely too mundane for me.

I'll be frank. I'm bored.

Not yet; I've so far only spoken with a minority of those whom reside here. I'm Helen Magnus.

[Her voice takes on a cheery tone]

With the two of them there's sometimes wonder. [ There's a little lightheartedness in there but some distraction too. Despite that, she is pleased to meet you ]

James mentioned you a little earlier. It's a pleasure to speak with you.

Likewise. James told me that we'd get along quite well and Nikola compared me to you - so I suppose we'll get along swimmingly, yes?

[Both are fiercely independent women who happen to wield guns]

There is something I wanted to discuss with you, about James. He seems to be in....pain?

[ She's not entirely sure on what to say to that but it has to be a compliment, right? ] Hopefully so, yes.

[ She's now also switching to filtering this. Sorry, James, she sees you there ]

I have noticed it and have been carefully observing. There's a long history associated with it and part of it is an adjustment to being without a device of James', although how far that is stretching I am still determining. I have mentioned it to it. [ Part of it is deciding how to progress, when she mentions it again, and the rest is his stubbornness ]

I suggested he use a cane, but you know how prideful men can be. It might not make the pain go away, but it could alleviate some of the pain he has in walking.

River Song

If it were a different time he may be more inclined. [ She knew that pride too well. She was damning that pride some ] Broaching the subject isn't as simple as it may seem, either. I'm hoping that I can find something more long term, also.

I'd offer to help, but I'm afraid with someone like him, I wouldn't know where to begin. It's the aging process, right?

River Song

What has James told you? [ James may like her but she'd rather be cautious first ]

I know that he's older then he looks and that he's devised some sort of device to keep him from aging.

River Song

[longaevus]

That's right, a device that I helped him with. [ That's rare information there, River, savour it ] To cut a long story short James was in possession of a suit - one that helped extend his life. Somehow he's here without it and alive, but being without the suit? His body is and no doubt will continue to feel the effects of his age. [ Although what was preventing him from completely ageing as he had in Bhalasaam she would very much like to know ]

[Immediate respect. Building a suit to keep a friend from aging? Totally cool]

I see. Is there any way you could build another suit? I suppose that's already occurred to you.

River Song

[longaevus]

The possibility is there. [ Even without the design she knows that James would recall it ] Although certain parts of going about it are not a pleasing thought.

I imagine the suit would have to be wired into vital parts of his body?
