[Since things have calmed down a bit, Galadriel has had a chance to think about things that have been in the back of her mind for quite some time. The text that appears on the page is an old fashioned script, elegant, crisp, and clean.]
Human: a bipedal primate mammal (Homo sapiens).
Vampire: the reanimated body of a dead person believed to come from

[A slight pause in the writing. That "led to be believed" is interesting.]
The true nature of vampires in your world is not common knowledge, then? Are you another from a world in which that which is deemed "magic" or "supernatural" must remain hidden?

Vampires became extinct many centuries ago, although then was much a different story. They didn't hide themselves but hid their weaknesses - creating legends and much false information regarding them.
There is a 'hidden world' if you will, something hidden from what most know and see. There are many beings which keep their existence hidden simply for their own safety; the creatures that I know are known only as myths to many, through a lack of belief and this wish to protect.

I see. My own home is quite different- a number of races live openly alongside Man and, while I will not claim there is no ill will among us, we fend for ourselves well enough. [She pauses, thinking of the Ents.] There are some beings who have passed into myth and legend, for they are not commonly seen and are remembered only by the very old, but this is not true of most.

You home sounds a blessed place to be. While there may be some ill will amongst those you share it with it would seem to be kept to a minimum.

[He did fail to mention that she was also a doctor, though, or she would have used that title instead.]
I would not leave a false impression; we have a great many troubles of our own. Yet it is in fellowship that we find our strength. Secrecy would not avail us in those matters. [It's rather hard to hide your existence from a fallen divine being.]

I can only hope that one day something of a similar nature could come about for us although I fear that it may be many lifetimes away. [ Even past her own ] It's pleasing to hear that, even with your troubles. It's been an old saying that united you are stronger, particularly against that which troubles or causes you fear. Your home would be a good example of that.

And that is my hope. I will not burden you with the woes of a world you will never see, but suffice it to say the strength is needed.

And it is no burden. It would actually be rather fascinating to know of it if you so wished to tell - I've travelled extensively on Earth and lived, even for short periods, within many cultures. Knowing, and especially experiencing the different lifestyles, even where things cross and become similar is wondrous. A story for another day though, perhaps?

I see now why I was urged to speak with you. It is a long tale, if told properly, and dark, but I will tell you of it someday, if you wish. Or perhaps it is better to say I will tell you what I may. Some things I cannot not speak of, for I am bound by both caution and my word.

And the others? You mentioned that there were a number of races?
Something that I quite understand. We would seem to have much time here - a tale should be properly told.

Dwarves came soon after Men. In those days, our grievances were fewer and there was much learning passed between our peoples. Halflings Hobbits, I must say, in all honesty, I do not know. Theirs is a quiet race and overlooked by lore. I know but one scholar of their history, a dear friend of mine. I will ask him, if ever I am able.

She does like though that you haven't learned everything that there is to know with your age. That makes her feel a little comforted]
Sadly there sounds to be little similar between our worlds, in regards to those who inhabit it at least. [ She's suspecting that dwarves have a different meaning to you ]

Something to which I have grown accustomed. It seems my world is rather singular in many ways.

Then I hope that I can only return the favour and have something with which to share in return.

I am sure you will. What little I have heard of your world interests me greatly.
