[To say that Rose is a bit surprised, to have gone to sleep in her own comfortable princess-style bed and woken up in a pile of leaves outside the castle, is quite the understatement. My only conclusion would be that it would have something to do with the castle. A lacking explanation but the most likely one. For whatever reason it's done this that I cannot speculate on.

Are you Rose? [ It was a reasonable guess considering that she doubted that Nikola had too many friends remaining, that and she'd already spoken with Maladict and Rose was the only other name that she knew ]
