[A small sound of dry amusement preludes this journal entry. Rin is sitting under Alexstrasza's tree, yet again - one of her most common haunts these days - with her journal open over her knees.]
If anyone thought otherwise, this definitely makes the argument that we should have backups to stay in besides the castle, doesn't it?
My name is Asano Rin, and I'm going to be taking my Arcanine out to the outposts we have built - the northern lake outposts, to be exact. There's one building in the dead zone and one in the powered zone, two people per room. We can't exactly fit the whole castle, but there are supplies of food out there, and places to bed down on the floor with extra linens if people don't mind being crowded. Tad is a fast runner and he can carry someone out there in decent time. If someone wants to ride pillion with someone who knows the way, I don't mind staying behind for a while.
Otherwise, I run a shop called Breath of Earth in town. It's a gardening store, and I'll have to turn people out during the day, but... if people can find things to sleep on, they can feel free to bed down there. It won't be the most comfortable but it might be better than sleeping cold.
For thirds, I think the women who work there trust me at least a little by now. We'll have to promise them payment but they would maybe be willing to put people up for a few nights. But I won't have any of them in danger so only residents I know will behave.
