Seventeenth Flutter

[This is all Action! Loss-Filly-Fluttershy somehow got on the roof of the castle, still determined to get the whole 'flying' thing down. But... now that she looks down... g-gee, that's awfully high... maybe this wasn't such a good idea... She decides to turn around and give up.

... Except she slips, and falls off the roof!

[He's just minding his own business, sewing away happily at one of his growing herd family of sheep-dolls--he even gave in and asked the castle for materials--when he spots movement on the roof? Oh wait it's the little pony he was trying to encourage in her flyin--hoshi-- FALLING!

He's off, dashing across the lawn at full tilt.]

H-Hold on! I'll--

[And then she's big and flying on her own and what the hell?]

[She floats down to the ground, and spots him. Though she's still shy, she's not as bad as her filly form, and timidly walks up to him.]

You're that nice human that tried to help me... Thank you.

[And she talks.]

You got bigger all of the sudden.

[He'll be mystified by that for a couple minutes and then shake his head. He doesn't seem all that surprised at the talking--one of his best friends is a bear, after all.]

Just wish I coulda helped more. But you're welcome!

The castle turned me young... It's happened to a friend of mine before...

[Have a smile.]

It's all right... I wasn't going to learn for a little while longer...

So you weren't, uh, all fledged yet? Do pegasus...es fledge? Kinda weird that you got made young again, but this place is pretty weird so...

[He shrugs.]

I was forcing it too much... Flying is supposed to come naturally... It happened when I had a big fall, just like that... but then, a beautiful batch of butterflies caught me... I'd never seen anything like them before in my life... I began flying without knowing it, because I wanted to stay in the air with them....

I get you. When you're scared it's really hard to take that final step and just do it, even when you can. Even when you know you can, under the fear.

But butterflies? That sounds really amazing.

[But the compliment makes her duck shyly behind her hair.]

So... uh. Where are you from, Fluttershy-chan?

[The -chan makes the blink, but she'll answer.]

My world is called Equstria... I originally lived in Cloudsdale, but I moved to Ponyville so I could be near animals.

You like animals? They're really cute, aren't they? What kinds do you like best?

Oh, I love them all! Butterflies and doggies and kitties and birdies and bunnies...

[she could go on and on if you let her.]

That's cool. And bunnies are super cute, with their little noses and fluffy tails. Sheep too! I've been making sheep lately. I might 've got a little carried away.

[He sheepishly shows her the current sheep doll. It's not quite done, but it's already really cute.]

[She leans in to see it, and - awww!]
